What AI told buyers about an Australian AI consultancy

This is a real free audit, shortened, with the firm, its rivals, its city and its software taken out. We asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini 10 questions, 3 times each: 90 conversations. 72 were buyer questions; the rest asked about the firm itself. A SaaS audit works the same way, with your buyers' questions.

What we found

Four findings, each with its fix

Finding 01

Buyers ask how to connect their software to AI, and a rival's connector gets named

Gemini named a rival's connector in all 3 answers. The firm has its own connector, but its page doesn't answer the setup question, so it appeared in none of the 9 answers.

Fix: A setup article that answers the exact question, linked from the connector page.

Finding 02

ISO 42001 answers go to certifiers and security firms

9 answers named nine other providers. The assistants read the firm's ISO 42001 page three times on other questions, but never for this one.

Fix: One supporting article written for small businesses, pointing to the service page.

Finding 03

ChatGPT names the firm in 18 of 18 local answers. Claude and Gemini name it in 11 of 36

On the construction question, Gemini sent builders to a rival with a page written for construction in all 3 answers. No page on the firm's site speaks to builders.

Fix: A page for construction buyers, with the firm's on-site work and a client review.

Finding 04

Two company names in the markup and the footer

Asked about the firm's competitors, Claude listed overseas businesses with a similar name. The structured data and the footer disagree on the company's name.

Fix: One Organization record in the markup on every page, matching the legal name.
